- ➤ Sarasota Bradenton International Airport closed out 2025 with record passenger traffic as it welcomed over 4.5 million travelers, with December seeing 417,468 passengers — a 3.05 percent increase from December 2024. The Bradenton Times
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Local wildlife officials and conservationists in Bradenton warn that feeding pelicans at boat ramps or parks harms the birds’ natural hunting skills and is illegal—first offenses result in fines—and could upset the local ecosystem if the practice continues. ABC7
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Manatee County will launch its new ferry, Manatee Belle, featuring 35 seats inside and 40 outside with air conditioning to shorten travel between downtown Bradenton and Anna Maria Island.
