- ➤ Seattle-based SSA Marine has proposed a plan with Tampa-based Slip Knott LLC to build a cruise terminal on the Knott Cohen Tract near the Sunshine Skyway Bridge, saying it will boost local business and create jobs while protecting natural sites (including the Terra Ceia Aquatic Preserve). - ➤ Indivisible Manatee held its first voter education meeting earlier this week at the downtown Bradenton Library with 80 residents in attendance — Scott Farrington explained that new voting rules require re-enrollment for Vote-By-Mail, and another session is scheduled for Feb. 17.
