- ➤ Local gas stations on the Suncoast updated their fuel prices on March 20 following recent market changes. Motorists are encouraged to check current prices before fueling up. ABC7

- ➤ Black skimmers and other threatened shorebirds begin nesting at Coquina Beach on Anna Maria Island this March. Anna Maria Island Turtle Watch + local experts will monitor the birds as the first successful nest since 2017 may signal a positive season. ABC7
- ➤ State agencies report that red tide was not observed in statewide samples last week & officials continue to use satellite imagery from USF & NOAA NCCOS to monitor nearshore and offshore conditions. The next status report will be issued on Friday, March 27. The Bradenton Times
