  • The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office reported that 57-year-old William Curlett was declared a missing endangered adult after leaving his home at 1 a.m. on Saturday from the 4600 block of Runabout Way and he was last seen driving a gray Honda on I-75 toward Naples.  ABC Action News

CULTURE NEWS

  • GMS Saturday aired a program rediscovering the forgotten Ringling legacy on the Suncoast, highlighting local archival insights (from historical collections) that connect the region’s past with its present.  ABC7

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Nearly 2,000 people gathered at University Town Center on Sunday for a No Kings rally against what they called authoritarian government policies. Organizers said the turnout exceeded expectations (including youths such as a 12-year-old carrying a sign) as demonstrators called on officials to take action.  ABC7

  • Taggart Family Foundation hosted the 941 Youth Legends Combine at Lincoln Park in Palmetto Saturday, where football legends taught youth essential skills and values. The event aimed to boost both athletic skills and character development (helping local players grow).  ABC7
