  • The Village in Bloom Art Walk & Market will take place this weekend at Village of the Arts in Bradenton. Visitors can explore working studios, galleries & boutiques, listen to live music, enjoy pop-up vendors, and join a fairy door scavenger hunt with free parking at the 13th Ave lot.  The Bradenton Times

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Manatee Library’s Roadtrip USA summer learning program offers free daily educational events across all library locations from May 30 to July 31. Participants who complete 20 reading hours earn prizes and ticket vouchers for the Bradenton Marauders game on Aug. 7.  Manatee County

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • The Southwest Florida Water Management District will implement new water restrictions for irrigation starting Friday, April 3 until Wednesday, July 1 to ease drought concerns (homeowners will water based on house numbers).
