EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ On Tuesday, the Manatee Literacy Council announced that a $21,718.50 grant from the Manatee Community Foundation will help expand adult literacy programs at local libraries and pilot an English for Driving course. - ➤ Manatee County Commissioners approved measures to support seniors and improve neighborhoods, including funding of nearly $15K for community projects and updates to home care programs, and they sent a letter requesting the renaming of King Middle Park to Nick Bollettieri Park.
