- ➤ The Boys + Girls Club celebrated its new Palmetto location at the Rubonia Community Center on Friday, marking 80 years of service with plans for full-day summer programs and year-round activities for children to learn and grow. ABC7
- ➤ Manatee County government, in partnership with Palmetto and Bradenton, is hosting a cleanup at Old Memphis Cemetery on Saturday, May 23 at 9 a.m. Volunteers will help remove debris and beautify the historic site, which was vandalized recently and includes veterans’ graves at 25th St. W & Second Ave. W.
