- ➤ Manatee County Sheriff’s Office is searching for 29-year-old Leyogi J. McCullough, who was last seen at 11:45 p.m. on May 18th in the 1400 block of 26th Street East in Palmetto after he said he would harm himself — anyone with information should call the Sheriff's Office. ABC7

- ➤ State College of Florida will start its first dual language nursing program at its Bradenton campus this fall to help Spanish speaking students pass the NCLEX — eight students will enroll initially with plans to grow to 24 next year. Bay News 9

- ➤ Manatee County will close government offices and postpone trash, recycling and transit services on Memorial Day Monday, May 26 while keeping parks, golf courses and beaches open.
