- ➤ Today, Hope Villages of Manatee officially opened with 16 housing units—plus a community center and playground—after 10 years of planning to help families with young children at risk of homelessness by teaching financial literacy and providing workforce housing. - ➤ Officials confirmed that some Baltimore Orioles minor league players were among four people in a head-on jet ski crash in Lido Key on Sunday — two people suffered minor injuries and two were taken to a nearby hospital, causing the postponement of FCL games on Monday and Tuesday.
