Oscura will host SoulSwitch, a modern hard rock band from Orlando performing today at 7 p.m. at the reimagined Old Manatee venue, where tickets cost $10 in advance and $15 at the door — the band is known for energetic live shows and repeated festival appearances.

On July 29th, the Manatee County School Board held a meeting to review and approve the 2025—2026 tentative millage rate and budget while the League of Women Voters of Manatee County Education Issues Committee observed the board’s practices and raised questions about scheduling.
