  • Dozens of homeowners in Sarasota and neighboring counties paid deposits for new windows from Sash and Sill but received no installation—owner Todd Hoch was arrested on felony charges and is set for arraignment on August 25.  FOX 13 Tampa Bay
  • Detectives shut down an illegal gambling arcade at 105 Cortez Road West in Bradenton after a tip led to undercover visits plus they confiscated 55 slot machines, 27 computers and over $160,000 in proceeds while the business owner faces investigation.  ABC Action News
  • A Connecticut couple from Bristol pleaded not guilty to lewd or lascivious exhibition charges after a mother with two children reported witnessing their sexual activity on a JetBlue flight from JFK to Sarasota on July 19, and they were released on their own recognizance on July 31—JetBlue permanently banned them.  ABC7
