- ➤ Oscura Presents: Ending Apathy is a live show featuring Gabe Hernandez meteorEYES, a Midwest Emo band from Sarasota that draws on influences from Mom Jeans and Modern Baseball. The event is set at the newly relaunched Old Manatee venue—doors open at 7 p.m. with $10 tickets. The Bradenton Times
- ➤ Justin Black, a singer-songwriter from Kentucky now based in Sarasota, will perform an evening of Southern music at Flamingo Bay Brewing Company where guests can enjoy his mix of country, blues, and bluegrass—set against a backdrop of craft beer and a family-friendly atmosphere. - ➤ On Anna Maria Island, hatchling sea turtles are struggling to reach the Gulf as artificial lighting draws them inland. Last year's hurricanes removed protective dunes—and conservationists report that up to forty percent of hatchlings now follow dangerous inland paths. FOX 13 Tampa Bay

- ➤ Taylor Fresh Foods is recalling its Taylor Farms Honey Balsamic Salad Kit sold in 25 states including Florida because the kit may contain undeclared sesame and soy allergens caused by using Asian Sesame Ginger dressing instead of the correct Honey Balsamic Vinaigrette. The kits bear code dates starting with TFRS and Best If Used By Sept. 4—customers should discard them or return them for a refund as no illnesses have been reported. WFLA
