Good morning, Bradenton.

On Sunday night, the U.S. Coast Guard and Manatee County Sheriff’s Office searched near Anna Maria Island’s Bean Point Beach for 20-year-old Abhigyan Patel who vanished after a riptide swept him away while he swam with a friend who was rescued — photos taken by a local viewer captured a rescue boat and several law enforcement agencies at the scene.
