- ➤ A 39-year-old man was arrested and charged with murder after fatally stabbing a 40-year-old at a home on the 400 block of 60th Avenue Drive East in Bradenton on Sunday morning—deputies say the victim was taken to Blake Hospital and pronounced dead at 7:15 a.m. as witnesses reported the argument escalated and the investigation remains active. - ➤ Local community members held a 9/11 Memorial Flag Planting event to honor victims of the attacks - the ceremony served as a solemn reminder of the importance of remembrance. ABC7

HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Florida’s health department said a rule to drop school vaccine mandates for illnesses such as chickenpox, hepatitis B, Hib influenza, and pneumococcal diseases will not take effect until about 90 days after it was initiated on September 3 — leaving vaccines for measles, polio, and others still required. Lawmakers may extend the rule to cover more diseases, but new changes will come only through legislation. WFLA
