EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Terrace Community Middle School has raised nearly $700,000 of the $1.7 million needed for a new gym — the school has used off-campus facilities since its 2021 move to the Patel High School campus. The school continues its Team Tornado drive and spring gala fundraising — asking for community support to complete the project. Bay News 9
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ The Bradentucky Bombers will face New Jax City Rollers on Saturday, October 25 at Ellenton Ice and Sports Complex with doors opening at 4:30 p.m. and the bout starting at 5:00 p.m.—tickets cost $10 in advance or $15 at the door, with free admission for children five and under; the team will also host an open scrimmage on November 1 for league members and local skaters, featuring a Ghosts vs. Reapers theme.
