ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Big Waters Land Trust partnered with Theolla B. Cannon Revocable Trust and Manatee County Government to permanently protect 13 acres near Crane Park on the Myakka River—this conservation effort will expand public access and preserve upland and wetland habitats. ABC7
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Manatee County government offices and libraries will be closed Tuesday, November 11 for Veterans Day—transit services will be suspended—and community parades and ceremonies are scheduled to honor veterans while trash, recycling, and park services continue as usual. Manatee County
