- ➤ More than 300 residents, including 108 veterans, received medical, dental, and career assistance at the 27th Annual Manatee County Stand Down held Saturday at the Fairgrounds — community organizations and Turning Points helped deliver essential services. ABC7
- ➤ Connected Manatee is launching a pilot program in January at Lincoln Memorial Middle School in Palmetto to help struggling families get support through school-based resources — Turning Points will offer appointments with navigators to assist with rent, bills, and essential supplies. - ➤ Award winning vocalist Stephanie Adlington and guitarist Aaron Lessard will perform Americana blues at Fogartyville Friday, Nov. 7 at 8 p.m. — Doors open at 7 p.m. and ticket prices are $20 for members, $25 for non-members, and $12 for students. The Bradenton Times
