- ➤ Zelpha (Jeanne) Stocklin, 92, died peacefully at her Westminster Pointe Pleasant home on November 14—she spent her life traveling with her husband during his military service and building close family ties—and is survived by her children, grandchildren, and many other relatives. She had retired to Bradenton and enjoyed active community life in Florida. The Bradenton Times

- ➤ The BLUES PIG Band plays classic blues tunes from Chicago, Texas, and New Orleans at Mattison’s Riverwalk Grille in Bradenton today, led by Sizzlin’ Steve with returning member Iron Mike and featuring no cover charge. The Bradenton Times
