Good morning, Bradenton.

Bradenton Police Department will hold its annual Fill the Truck toy drive on December 13 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The event will collect unwrapped gifts for children and teens and offers a donation bin in the BPD lobby from November 24 through December 13 for those who cannot attend.

Downtown Bradenton will come alive on December 6 when Old Main Street is transformed into a free Winter Wonderland from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. as Realize Bradenton hosts a festive celebration where families will meet Santa and Mrs. Claus, ride a snow slide, enjoy live performances, and play carnival-style games while shopping local vendors for holiday treats.

The Bradenton Times thanked its loyal readers for 16 years of support as it faced a busy news cycle with economic and political challenges.

The paper said it will keep delivering clear, factual reporting as the community prepares for Thanksgiving and the upcoming midterm elections — promising to cover all key issues.
