- ➤ Manatee County will partner with Nopetro Energy and Johnson Controls to convert methane from 41,000 tons of trash into clean fuel by building a $50 million facility next year—expected to power over 4,500 homes, cut emissions equivalent to 5 million gallons of gasoline annually, and create new jobs and revenue.
